CALL OF THE WILD - SCOTLAND

There cannot be many places more remote and wild than the Scottish Highlands and Islands - a place I love to visit at least twice a year. Back in the early 2000's I lived for several years on a remote Scottish Island with only 200 inhabitants.  To get there involved a 3 to 4 hour journey on the Calmac ferry from Oban.  There were dolphins, Orcas, corncrakes and all kinds of seabirds. It really was wild !

I didn't own a camera during those years, but my goodness, looking back now I wish I had !
